WATER DEMANDS
The Water Module allows you to establish the lowest total cost of water delivery in relation to a water utility. The program's intuitive application can establish water demands accurately and efficiently. In residential areas, demands can be calculated according to stand areas, while reticulation pipelines are fairly evenly distributed along the area. Other features include the importing of pipes from multiple CAD layers. For each layer it is possible to specify the pipe material, class, nominal and internal diameter. The program also includes fully editable pipe and pump catalogues and supports up to eight pumps in each pump station.

Flood Hydrology Course |

The Institute for Water and Environmental Engineering at the University of Stellenbosch will be hosting a 3 day short course in Flood Hydrology on the 11-13 August 2008. Topics include
Deterministic, Empirical, and Statistical approaches to Hydrograph
|
analysis and the impact of Climate Change on flood calculations. Courses are supported by Knowledge Base in an attempt to ensure that the latest techniques and approaches are adopted in the Civil Designer suite of modules.
